Kierrätyskeskus shop tours

You’re welcome to tour Kierrätyskeskus! Our shop tours are fun, interesting and educational.

About shop tours

You can choose to tour any of the larger Kierrätyskeskus shops. You can go on a self-guided tour to any shop.

Choose the shop visit that suits you best:

  • Guided tour for daycares, schools and educational institutions, or for those interested in Kierrätyskeskus as a workplace, at a Kierrätyskeskus of your choice.
  • A paid tour by an environmental educator to the Nihtisilta shop, sorting centre and workshops.
  • A self-guided tour to a Kierrätyskeskus of your choice, using ready-made materials.

Free tours for daycares, schools and educational institutions

Free tours for daycares, schools and educational institutions include approx. a 15–30 minute shop presentation. During the tour, you will get an idea of what goes on in the Kierrätyskeskus shop and what steps are taken to get the goods to their new owners. The maximum group size is 20 people.

We are also happy to introduce Kierrätyskeskus’s activities to groups interested in Kierrätyskeskus as a workplace.
Arrange a free tour in advance by contacting the shop’s tour contact person.
Email addresses are in the format firstname.surname@kierratyskeskus.fi.

Tours led by an environmental educator for everyone

Book a circular economy tour led by an environmental educator to the Nihtisilta shop in Espoo!

The paid tour includes a visit to Kierrätyskeskus’s shop, workshop and sorting centre, through which more than 5 million products are circulated for reuse every year. During the one-hour tour, we will also discuss the significance of reuse and consider the consumption choices we can make to help save natural resources.

Children and adult groups alike are welcome on the tour, and remote guided tours are also possible.
