Collection tours

Our collection trucks and vans tour around Helsinki metropolitan area every spring and autumn. You can donate clean and intact small household items, textiles and clothes, as well as bicycles and small electronics in any condition – free of charge of course.

The schedule for the autumn 2024 tour is now published! This autumn we will tour Helsinki, Espoo, Kirkkonummi and Kauniainen.

Kierrätyskeskus collection tours hit 200 addresses around residential areas of Helsinki, Espoo, Kauniainen, Vantaa and Kirkkonummi every spring and autumn. You can also find us at Töölöntori square monthly.

Collection tour will hit 200 addresses around residential areas of Helsinki, Espoo, Kauniainen ja Kirkkonummi. You can donate clean and intact small household items, clothes, accessories and household textiles suitable for reuse. Small electronics and bicycles are welcome in all conditions!

Spring collection tour

Spring collection tour comes to Helsinki and Vantaa. You can donate clean and intact small household items, clothes, accessories and household textiles suitable for reuse. Small electronics and bicycles are welcome in all conditions!

Our collection tour reaches Töölöntori and Hakaniemi market once a month during autumn and spring.

Collection tours will return in autumn 2024.

What you can bring to the collection truck?

Usable, clean and intact household and decorative items;

  • tableware, kitchenware, decorative items
  • clothes
  • shoes, bags, accessories
  • household textiles, carpets
  • books, records, console games
  • toys and children’s accessories
  • sports and camping equipment and fishing gear
  • materials suitable for arts and crafts
  • tools, work clothes, shelves and other miscellaneous repair supplies
  • garden and outdoor equipment, e.g. rakes, mattocks, hoses

In any condition or just parts

  • bicycles
  • small electronic devices, e.g. lighting

Please note that due to lack of space, our collection trucks and vans cannot accept any type of furniture.

Remember these when donating

Pack your donation in durable cardboard boxes and for example reusable bags that you can leave at the collection.

Our collection vehicles are intended for smaller items and small household goods, clothes and textiles, to assure everyone the opportunity to leave in their donations. Larger reusable items and clean furniture can be donated to our stores directly. You can also order our pick-up service.

Remember that broken and dirty clothes, textiles and household items belong at, for example, HSY’s Sortti stations or other waste collection points in your area.

Use a poster to announce the arrival of the collection tour in your area!

Print a poster on the notice board of your building and mark the date and time when the collection tour will be in your neighbourhood. You can fill in and print the poster here.
