Condition of donated goods

Intact, clean and reusable. Only donate furniture to Kierrätyskeskus that you could give as a gift or take into your own home. Please note that the condition of the furniture is always assessed at the donation point by a Kierrätyskeskus employee.

What about furniture in poor condition?

Furniture and goods that are to be disposed of belong primarily to HSY’s Sortti stations. However, when the sorting stations are closed, we accept individual pieces of furniture in good condition for a waste fee (€8-32, depending on the size of the piece).
