You can become a loyalty member by filling in a membership form online, or at the customer service desk at any Kierrätyskeskus store.
I have a laminated loyalty member card, am I still a loyalty member?
Laminated loyalty cards ceased to work on 30.9.2019. Since then, loyalty membership has required a renewed loyalty card (plastic card or Cardu digital card) and acceptance of updated loyalty terms and conditions.
I am a city employee, can I still get a discount as before?

I used to get a discount with a student card, can I still use that to get a discount?
All discounts for different customer groups in Kierrätyskeskus are now bundled under one loyalty member card. The discount rate for full-time students has not changed (20 %), but you will need a loyalty member card. Join online and activate your student discount at the customer service desk in any Kierrätyskeskus store. Bring a valid student certificate with you.
Can I combine a loyalty member discount with another discount in the store?
It is not possible to combine discounts, but the discounted product will always be sold at the highest discount.
I am under 18, can I become a loyalty member?
Unfortunately not, as our terms and conditions require you to be of legal age. However, you are welcome to join our loyalty programme on your 18th birthday!
I did not receive a confirmation message in my email
If you did not receive a confirmation email about your loyalty membership, please check your email spam folder. The sender of the message is Pääkaupunkiseudun Kierrätyskeskus. If you still can’t find the message, please send us an email: asiakastuki@kierratyskeskus.fi
Where can I get my loyalty card?
Once you’ve joined the programme, you can pick up your card at any Kierrätyskeskus store. A loyalty card is issued in exchange for your customer number, which you have received while joining. Remember to save your customer number!
I can’t pick up my card, can it be mailed to me?
Unfortunately no. You do not need to pick up your card immediately, as your membership details are stored and you can ask for your card the next time you visit the store – whether it has been two weeks or a year. Please note that you need your customer number in order to receive your card.
Problems with Cardu
I can’t find my Kierrätyskeskus card in the Cardu app, what should I do?
If you have registered as one of our loyal member customers using the form and selected Cardu as your card option, your card should automatically appear in your wallet in the Cardu app.

I chose Cardu, but I would still like a plastic card
We can change your digital card for a plastic one at store’s customer service desk. Please be prepared to prove your identity at customer service.
Can I block the ads sent by Cardu?
The notifications in the Cardu app are card-specific and can be turned off in the card settings.
You can also turn off app notifications in your phone’s settings (depending on the model) under Notifications -> App notifications.
