You can bring to the collection truck tidy, intact and clean small household items and household textiles suitable for reuse: for example kitchenwareand utensils, interior and decorative items, books and records, shoes, bags, accessories, toys and games, clothes, various household textiles, carpets, sports equipment, camping and hobby equipment, as well as materials suitable for crafts and handicrafts. Small electronics and bicycles are accepted in all condition. Please note that due to lack of space, we cannot accept furnitures in the collection truck.

Use a poster to inform about the arrival of the collection truck!

Print a poster on the notice board of your housing association and mark the date and time when the Kierrätyskeskus collection truck will be in your neighbourhood. You can fill in and print the poster

HSY’s Sortti collection truck for household hazardous waste, metal and electrical and electronic waste

In spring 2025, HSY’s Sortti collection truck for household hazardous waste, metal and electrical and electronic waste will also be operating in the Helsinki Metropolitan Area. Its timetable can be found on the HSY website. Please note that HSY’s truck will not be used to collect reusable goods for the Kierrätyskeskus collection truck, nor can Kierrätyskeskus’s truck be used to collect household hazardous waste or scrap metal.
