Kierrätyskeskus’ collection truck is on it’s way to your neighbourhood! The collection accepts tidy, intact and clean household items and home textiles suitable for reuse: e.g. tableware, kitchen utensils, interior and decorative items, books and records, shoes, bags, accessories, toys and games, clothes, various home textiles, carpets, equipment for sports, camping and hobbies, as well as materials suitable for arts & crafts. Small electronics* and bicycles are accepted in any condition. Please note that the collection truck cannot accept furniture due to lack of space.
*Psst! If you are wondering what exactly is “small electronics”, remember: if it can be carried without particular effort, it can be donated!
HSY’s Sortti collection for household hazardous waste will also operate in the Helsinki Metropolitan Area during autumn 2025. Please note that HSY’s collection truck will not accept reusable items intended for Kierrätyskeskus’ collection truck, just as Kierrätyskeskus’ truck will not accept any household hazardous waste.
Print a poster on the notice board of your building and mark the date and time when the collection tour will be in your neighbourhood. You can fill in and print the poster here.
