You can bring usable, clean and intact household items and decorative items, as well as bicycles and small household electronics in any condition to the collection truck, free of charge.
The collection truck is on site once a month in spring and autumn.
Do the environmental thing – don’t throw away good stuff, donate it. Your donation will help save natural resources and enable our employment work.
The collection car is now touring in Töölöntori this spring. The Hakaniementori collections are on pause due to the renovation of the Hakaniemi area.
Pack your donation for example in durable cardboard boxes, reusable and other bags, which you can leave as they are at the collection truck.
The collection vans are primarily intended for smaller consignments, so that as many people as possible in the city/area can bring their goods for recycling and make the donating as convenient as possible. Larger reusable items and clean furniture can be brought directly to our stores. You can also use our pick-up service.
Remember that broken and dirty clothes, textiles and household items belong at, for example, HSY’s Sortti stations or other waste collection points in your area.
Print a poster on the notice board of your building and mark the date and time when the collection tour will be in your neighbourhood. You can fill in and print the poster here.
